Avatars, Initiations, and Rathyatra
Since childhood, I bombarded my parents with questions, endlessly curious. Their patient explanations often left me pondering, as if chasing a fleeting mirage.
The journey began when my parents discovered the GMCKS Pranic Healing Center, nestled in the heart of Vaishakha. This enchanting city, on the eastern coast where sun-kissed snowflakes dance in a gentle breeze, is a land of contrasts. Vaishakha is renowned for its mystical hills of Manidwepa, veiled in perpetual snow and cradling elixirs of longevity found only in the deepest reaches of the Himalayas. Protected by ethereal guardians Sharabha and Pratyangira, these guardians are said to test the purity of those who seek herbs, admitting to only the worthy. I tried to enter once, Sharabha and Pratyangira said, “In future comes your chance to Enter. Wait.”
In this city, summer and snowfall embrace with benevolence, caressed by an oceanic breeze from the eastern shores. Vaishakha stands as the jewel of Jambu, its eastern horizon bathed in an eternal ocean of wisdom and light. To the west and south, the towering Manidweepa mounts, harboring the fabled elixirs, while to the north flows the Kshiraganga, a river of knowledge infused with herbal potency. Legends speak of its waters granting immortality to the drinker, guarded fiercely by Vasuki, Anantha, Taksha, and Kaliya. The infinite ocean of wisdom grants enlightenment to the swimmer, finding sentinels in Dorje Shugden, Dukkar Shendongma, Mahakala, Palden Lhamo, and Setrap, who test the pure-hearted with trials of wisdom, love, mercy, and kindness to enter the Kshiraganga & Ocean. Just a glance of scenic nature here, leads to a bliss.
At the age of twenty, guided by my parents and younger sister, I stepped into the realm of Pranic Healing, where educational accolades mattered less than the purity of intent. The workshop unveiled the mysteries of prana, teaching us to perceive its essence in the air, the earth, and the life around us. My lifelong fascination with parapsychology and clairvoyance found new depths as I beheld the shimmering auras enveloping every living being.
Over two immersive days, we immersed ourselves in the art of self-healing, distant healing, and pranic breathing—a tapestry of mindful wellness. Yet, it was the profound concept of karma that gripped my imagination, revealing its timeless truth of cause and effect.
The law resonated with a simple yet profound message: “As you sow, so shall you reap.” It illuminated the intricate web of life, where our present circumstances echo the echoes of past actions. It was a revelation that shifted my understanding, debunking the notion of divine interference in human affairs and attributing our destinies solely to our own actions.
Reflecting on the law of karma, I began to see life’s complexities through a new lens. The fate of the Pandavas, exiled to the forest, was a result of their own choices, not the schemes of the Kauravas. Financial losses mirrored past transgressions, and political defeats were consequences of personal choices. Every discordant note in relationships echoed past disharmony caused by us. These realizations left me spellbound, akin to discovering a hidden tome of cosmic wisdom.
Fuelled by newfound insights, I charted a course through GMCKS’s diverse workshops, each promising to illuminate a different facet of a balanced and mindful life. From Basic Pranic Healing to the esoteric realms of Arhatic Yoga and spiritual business management, these courses beckoned with promises of transformation and understanding.

Yet, the path was not without hurdles. The foremost challenge lay in the financial investment required. Determined not to rely on others’ generosity, I embarked on a journey of self-sufficiency, offering healing services to earn my workshop fees. Time and travel posed additional obstacles, with workshops often held far from Vaishakha. Despite these challenges, I resolved to navigate them with diligence and purpose.
Organizing these workshops presented significant challenges for the World Pranic Healing Foundation (WPHF). Each course required a minimum participation of 50 candidates to proceed, necessitating a substantial client base in the hosting state. This requirement meant workshops were primarily feasible in densely populated regions, where the potential participant pool ranged from 1,000 to 5,000 individuals. Unfortunately, Vaishakha, nestled amidst serene landscapes and magical herbs, boasted a smaller population focused more on material pursuits than mindful or holistic practices.
Financial constraints posed another hurdle. The workshops demanded considerable funding, ranging from $100,000 to $1,000,000 per event. Such costs encompassed venue rentals, instructor fees, promotional efforts, and administrative logistics. Given the city’s modest economic scale, local sponsorship was insufficient, compelling prospective attendees to travel to nearby cities or states hosting the workshops.
Despite these challenges, dedicated practitioners like myself were determined to pursue Pranic Healing. For me, this journey became not just a personal odyssey of enlightenment but also a testament to perseverance and passion amidst logistical obstacles.
As I embarked on this odyssey of learning and self-discovery, one question continued to haunt me: Why do people knowingly repeat their mistakes? Why does the thief steal, the murderer kill, and the liar deceive, knowing the repercussions? It was a conundrum that echoed through the ages, demanding an answer that lay hidden amidst the tapestry of karma and human choices.
In the heart of Vaishakha, amidst its mystical allure and timeless wisdom, my journey into Pranic Healing had begun—a journey that would unravel mysteries, challenge perceptions, and ultimately, illuminate the path to profound self-discovery.
